Dane County Senior Planner, Brian Standing, will be available in the Town Hall to answer residents' questions about how proposed changes to shoreland zoning rules through NR-115 will affect their properties.  It is highly encouraged that appointments be scheduled in advance.  To schedule an appointment, please Brian Standing at 267-4115.

New Voting Rules Enacted by Wisconsin State Legislature will Affect Voting

 

One of the effects of the newly enacted Voter ID Law is that the schedule for both voting by absentee ballot and registering to vote has changed.  Voters will no longer be able to vote or register to vote on the day before the election.  Instead, ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE CAST AND REGISTRATION MUST TAKE PLACE BY 5:00 PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE ELECTION.  For more information on how the new law will affect absentee voting, please click here.
