New Voting Rules Enacted by Wisconsin State Legislature will Affect Voting
One of the effects of the newly enacted Voter ID Law is that the schedule for both voting by absentee ballot and registering to vote has changed. Voters will no longer be able to vote or register to vote on the day before the election. Instead, ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE CAST AND REGISTRATION MUST TAKE PLACE BY 5:00 PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE ELECTION.
